50-plus doors from the Chelsea Hotel in New York City will be auctioned next week via Guernseys. It's such an incredible opportunity to own a piece of history - some of the doors on sale led to rooms once occupied by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Tennessee Williams, Humphrey Bogart, Bob Marley, Jack Kerouac, Jackson Pollock, Jim Morrison, Bob Dylan, Isabella Rossellini, Jimi Hendrix, Madonna, Andy Warhol, Liam Neeson, and Brian Jones. Rebecca Gardner's holiday pop up shop at the St. Regis New York

21 Nov St. Regis New York’s holiday shop in How To Spend It

Every year, the St. Regis Hotel in New York City has a fabulous, but temporary, holiday shop. This year they enlisted event designer Rebecca Gardner, who has produced some of the hotel's famous midnight suppers (most recently for fashion designer Jason Wu), to create a pop-up featuring her favorite things, which include Venetian glassware and Elizabethan collars for dogs (really). 22 May Moderated a panel at ICFF

With these guys - the actor Terry Crews, singer Tift Merritt, and Jerry Helling, president and creative director of Bernhardt Design, who convinced those two to create collections for him, and me to moderate a panel during ICFF.  This was not my first go at the moderating rodeo, but one of the more interesting, because it addressed the whole "celebrities in design" elephant in the room.
