26 Oct Christopher John Rogers for Orior Furniture/Alexa

Christopher John Rogers’ designs have been worn by some of the most famous people in the world on red carpets around the globe. Now he can dress their homes as well. The 2021 CFDA American Womenswear Designer of the year has collaborated with Orior, an Irish design studio and furniture manufacturer with a showroom in SoHo, on a capsule collection of chairs. Four upholstered designs from the Orior archives, which date back to 1979, have each been reimagined with one of Rogers’ signature fabrics, with 100% of proceeds benefitting grassroots organizations identified by Color of Change, a nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization that builds tangible power for Black communities in America.
